Have you been trying long and hard to make money online with no success? If yes – I can hear you. I have been there too. I have build sites for the sole purpose of making money with Adsense. I have subscribed to PRL sites and also filled surveys. However I never made money that justified the effort I had put into these enterprises.

I almost gave up when I read an article on making money online with Amazon.com. It sounded simple but the logic behind the whole thing made perfect sense. I decided to give it a try and it worked. No, it wasn\’t easy and it required a lot of work but the end result was worth it.

In this article I want to share my experience with you selling products from Amazon.com. Hopefully, I will be able to motivate and help a few people out there who are yet to make money online. Last but not least – what you are gong to read below requires you to buy nothing. You won\’t have to spend a dime but you will be able to make money online.

Needles to say if we want to sell products from Amazon.com we need to become their partners. For that you need to google \”amazon affiliate program\” and click the first result. While signing up you will have to provide the url of a website you own. Don\’t have a website? Don\’t worry – you can use the address of any website of the Internet that looks decent and have valuable info on it.

After signing up we need to choose product to promote. This is no easy task. Amazon is the largest internet retailer with 5.5 billion dollars revenue for 2008. They carry hundreds of thousands of items that makes picking a few to promote almost an impossible task. Luckily for us Amazon provides lists of their top 100 best selling items by category.

To see any of the lists click on one of the categories on the left at the main page. If you scroll down the list you will see something like \”See All Bestsellers in (the name of the category)\”. Click it and you will be presented with the top 100 best selling items in this category. To me it is insane – I instantly know what sells most and that\’s what I want to promote. How to promote them you might ask?

Promoting merchandise from Amazon is a piece of cake. It is not secret that there are websites that Google favors. Whatever you put on it hits the front pages of the search engines in a matter of days. One of those loved by Google websites is Squidoo.com. The best thing is that posting on Squidoo is completely free. All you have to do is to create an account and start posting.

I can hear you asking – What to post?. In general we want to post reviews of the products we want to promote. Amazon.com allows it customers to review items they have bought. All you need to do is read the first page of reviews and come up with a 300 word review of your own. It will be hard in the beginning but you will soon become better. Right now I need about 15 minutes to craft one.

The next thing is to upload the review to Squidoo.com and in a matter of days it should hit the first page. Of course one review won\’t cut it. However – having a 100 or so will make a difference in your bottom line.
