Following on from my previous article which was \’How To Make Money Online – Blogging – Adding The Correct Content\’ you will now like to find without effort as many new website visitors as you can simply by raising the credibility of your site in the search engines.

I touched briefly on using the power of YouTube by adding a video there. As with all other things you do in putting content on social sites these also equal back links to your website. The search engines have a sort of voting basis and more exactly on a \’who is\’ voting basis. By you adding your content onto a high ranked social media site, such as YouTube, Digg, Twitter, Facebook, Mixx etc (there are literally hundreds of these media sites). Then when you link back to your site with a link from these \’social proof\’ sites then it is seen by search engines as a \’high value link.\’

These sites are free to use so there is no limit to the power you can create thanks to social media web 2.0. But for the purpose of this article what we are going to focus on here is just one specific way to increase visitors and back links utilising video marketing. So instead of simply adding your video to YouTube, you can sign up for the free site called Tube Mogul. When you upload your video onto Tube Mogul this site will automatically submit your video to around twenty video sites which are also free sites.

You will of course need to set up your own pages on each of these social sites which is fine as this also means that your blog now has its own \’mini-net\’ of say twenty high ranked social sites. Now when you upload your video to Tube Mogul, then you go out to your Digg and Mixx pages and you can comment on one or two of the video uploads (don\’t comment on them all). Now you are effectively then broadcasting your message on approximately twenty different TV channels all for free.

So you end up with a number of benefits here. Firstly you have a large number of links coming back from high ranked sites. You have over twenty more platforms to spread your message on and attract new visitors from. The traffic may take a while to come but the social proof element will happen quickly and raise your sites ranking in the search engines. Your primary goal to make money online is to get your site ranked well. From this point you can monetise them properly.

You also can apply this same idea to as many other web 2.0 sites as you wish to the only cost is your time. For maximum leverage then the best place to start is linking your website blog to Pingfm.com. This links to over forty other social sites. It is similar to Tube Mogul and you will also need to take the time to go and create pages on all of the linked sites. It is worth the effort as once you have then all posts and comments you add are instantly sent to over forty other web 2.0 sites which if you include a text link in your post will link back to your site.

Again you can go to Pingomatic.com and ping each of these posts. You can also ping any comments that you or any of your visitors make. Each blog post you make you should also \’ping\’ as well as this brings your posts to the attention of the search engine spiders.

The more activity, then the more often the spiders will return and the higher ranked your site will become. Then the end result for you will be more traffic at no cost except your time. In the next article I will show how to make money by further monetising your visitors.
