Easy SEO

Are you puzzled by all different SEO terms? If you are running your own business online, you may not have enough time to get acquainted with all the variety of  website optimization concepts. So how can you find out the secret of SEO and understand how to get your website noticed by the search engines? If you are looking for some clear principles to follow, here are the three most important.
Content is the king. This means that your keywords need to be specific and they need to be included in the viewable content on your page, or posted on a content delivery site. The most appropriate amount for search engine optimization is two or three percent. Anything more than this, and you are going to be labeled as “keyword cramming”, which can hurt your site’s SEO status. In addition, make sure that your keywords are in obvious places for the search engines.  This means inyour headings, links and alt tags for your images.
Another Search Engine Optimization principle is the structure of your site. Your keywords must be included in page titles, plus an idea of what kind of page they represent. For instance, if you are in the bird training niche, your About Us page may be titled: Bird training edge-About us. This would mean that your web pages are relevant and still gives your visitors an idea of where they are going when they click on your link. Your keywords must also be included in your Meta tag descriptions in a way that solicits some kind of action to your visitors. You should also add a link to your site map on your home page in this way the search engine spiders can be able to index your website.
The next important principle is relevance. This means that you have “popularity votes” from the other websites in your niche. These would be in the form of back links to your site. The more times a website is linked to another site, the more important it becomes and the higher will be ranked.  When it comes to back links, quality is more important than quantity, so you should always link to sites that are popular with the search engines. In this way, content delivery sites, forum postings, articles and press releases are the best places to start. Just be sure that the sites you link to do not use “no follow” tags because , linking to them is useless from the seo perspective.
If you find that your site is lacking in these principles, you should commit a bit of time every day for improvement or consult some accredited seo company. Search Engine Optimization is not an overnight process, but if you are patient and persistent you will be able to come out on top. The most important thing to keep in mind is that the more popular and relevant you are considered to be by the search engines, the better off your SEO status will become. If you concentrate only on numbers, you are missing the relevance part and are going into be labeled as a spam site. Follow these simple rules of Search Engine Marketing and watch your website progress.
